Identical to Museum of London Dress Accessories, Egan & Pritchard. Item 1239. Billingsgate lorry park. Ceramic phase 11.

Notes: Possible harness pendant? The item appears to have the top three arms of a cross with the lower arm broken off. Notes: Solid cast with a long body terminating with a large rounded knop. The body tapers towards the tip which is curled under. Use uncertain but likely a stud or very large nail or mount of some kind. From a small collection formed in the 1980s.

Very similar item sold on ebay as "Medieval Equestrian Belt Fitting Decoration ALS 106". Sold to Moose as 1300-1500 Medieval brooch" which it isn't.

Notes: Solid cast construction with weight suggesting bronze. Semi circular bar tapering slightly towards the tip. The end has two grooves before terminating in a flattish head. From a small collection formed in the 1980s. Described as: 12 Mixed bronze items. Nice Condition. These are from a small collection formed in the 1980's.

Notes: Sold as buckle, but I think this may be the bottom part of a open work strap end which is broken. There is no evidence of an apeture or wear and tear for a pin which would be evident with a buckle. There are also no piercings for rivets to attach to a strap end, so the function is unclear. Leaf motif terminus.
